Why is it necessary for us to study the Bible?

The Bible is God’s word to us. Though it was penned by human hands, the true inspiration comes from God. It is God’s word to us and its completely without error.

It tells us of God’s unchanging character and nature. With so many false teachings prevalent today, the Bible provides us with a standard to check against what we hear. It provides us with the skills to discern those teachings.

The Bible also provides us with lessons and ample examples to learn from the mistakes of others so that we can avoid and flee the temptations and avoid the baits that come with sin’s hooks.

Summarised, it basically our Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.
